around the whole country will be watching to see who will take the crown. Last year Georgia shocked everyone by beating Auburn 28-7. The Bulldogs are coming into this game looking to get revenge back on Alabama after the previous matchup. Georgia was up big at halftime then Coach Saban put in Tua Tagovailoa who had saved the day. December 1 came, and in a few hours, Georgia and Alabama were about to play. Fans were making bets and arguing. People are having parties and buying lots of food. Everyone is coming together for this one game.

Alabama wins the coin flip, and they choose to receive the ball. They had an excellent defensive possession for most of the 1st quarter, but Jake Fromm decided it was time to start rolling and hit Isaac Nauta with a 20 yd pass for a touchdown to end the quarter. 2nd quarter comes, and in no time the Crimson Tide scores off of Josh Jacobs run. The game was tied for most the half then Georgia picked up the pace and scored back to back. First off a 9 yd run from D’Andre Swift , Then another score from D’Andre Swift off a 11 yd pass from Jake Fromm to end up 21-7, but Alabama wasn’t going to lay down anytime soon and Josh Jacobs prove that as he recovered a fumble in the end zone to make it 21-14 to end the half.
Georgia had tons of energy, and the odds were on their side to win.
Halftime is over, and the 3rd has started, and Georgia has the ball on their 49. Elijah Holyfield(RB) made some big runs to help set up Fromm to throw another scoring touchdown to Riley Ridley for 23 yds. It may seem like Alabama is giving up, but then the hero finally shows up. Tua

D’Andre Swift running in a touchdown for UGA

Tagovailoa as he hits Jaylen Widdle with a 51 yd pass for a touchdown and the score is now 28-21. Both teams are going back and forth trying to score. Then something happens that shakes Alabama hopes of winning. Tua Tagovailoa has to get helped off the field with just a little over 11 mins remaining after one of his linemen stepped on the back of the quarterback’s right ankle. Coach Saban then enter in Hurts, who had led Alabama to the national title game as a freshman but lost his starting position to Tangovailoa. Hurts calmy guided the Crimson Tide to a clutch game-tying touchdown with a ten yd pass to Jerry Jeudy. After Georgia was stuffed on a fake punt near midfield, Hurts took the game into his own hands and took off for 15 yds for the winning touchdown with 1:04 remaining. Fromm tired to throw a hail-mary pass to win the game, but it ended up being incomplete, and The Crimson Roll Tide wins their 8th SEC championship and now leads the conference with most SEC titles.
