Subway is known for its footlong sub-sandwiches. On January 18th, Subway unveiled that their new sidekick menu would be released nationwide on January 22nd. The menu consists of three different footlong snacks. The first snack is a Cinnabon footlong churro for two dollars. The second snack is an Auntie Anne footlong pretzel for three dollars. The third snack is a footlong cookie for five dollars. All these snacks provide suitable options to go along with traditional orders at Subway.
Many Wheeler students like sub sandwiches from Subway. Mythili Shah (10) orders an Italian sub with chicken, buffalo sauce, and cheese. Despite many students who are fond of Subway at Wheeler, many of them had yet to hear of the new menu. For example, Krish Patel (10) was unaware of the latest significant additions to the menu. There was an even split among Wheeler students regarding which snack was the best. Due to its lower sugar content, Claire Telford (10) determined that her preferred item would be Auntie Anne’s pretzel. Students also wished to see other deserts transformed into a footlong version. Micah Piper (10) suggested making an Éclair a footlong. At the same time, Krish Patel (10) suggested making a brownie a footlong. Whether or not Subway continues expanding its new menu, many Wheeler students will soon be eagerly lining up for their sandwiches and snacks.
