This holiday season is the best time of year for many. All over the world people prepare and get into the holiday season in their own specific ways. The long-awaited Christmas activities and delicious cups of hot chocolate are looked forward to long before December even starts. This time of year bringing many people together and spreading lots of joy and it all starts with how everyone gets into the spirit of things. Now here are some ways your fellow wheeler students get into the Christmas spirit as well as things they do during the Christmas season.
When asked Some winter favorites from fellow wheeler students there were various answers. Justice Beeler (12) being “staying home and watching movies also drinking and even eating pumpkin spice stuff as well as sipping hot coco.”
Emoni Haynes (12) and Liz Johnson (11) being “making ginger bread houses and backing sweats.”
Now Emma Middleton (11) saying hers is “ice skating and Christmas shopping because it holds so much joy to it and instantly puts me in a better mood.”
Now when it comes to recommending others things to do this season a high recommendation from Emma Middleton (11) and Emoni Haynes (12) is to “go see the Christmas lights.” Emma Middleton specifically saying “ to go to Life University because they put on a beautiful show each year and its such a family friendly and a cute couples date spot to go to.” Justice Beeler 12th on the other hand says “to buy more winter clothes because nobody has any.”
Liz Johnson (11) recommends to “go outside for some fun activities.”
As far as favorite winter memory Justice Beeler (12) would have to say “when it snowed here and my elementary school had a snow ball fight.”
Similarly Liz Johnson (11) talks about the time her school got shut down for snow. Although Emoni Haynes speaks more on a family fun memory saying “when she plays uno with her family.”
Lastly Emma Middleton (11) says hers was “the first time I remember the life university’s lights, I went with my parents. They took me and I felt so happy to be enjoying this even with my parents.”
Some experiences they hope to have this season are. Justice Beeler (12) being a classic hoping “to get matching pjs with someone.”
Then Emoni Haynes (12) wanting “an expensive Christmas.”
Liz Johnson (11) simply hopes to experience “more snow.”
Emma Middleton (11) says she is more than ready to experience “my first Christmas with my boyfriend he’s brought so much joy this year and this is something I’ve been looking forward to for so long”
What gets them into the Christmas spirit are more simple things with Justice Beeler (12), Emoni Haynes (12), and Liz Johnson (11) all being “Christmas music” it really gets them into that Christmas spirit.
Emma Middleton (11) on the other hand finds decorating to get her into the Christmas spirit saying, “it puts me in such a holiday mood and suddenly I’m a little kid experiencing Christmas magic again.”
Their favorite Christmas movies to watch and songs to listen to include. Justice Beeler (12) being “home alone, elf, original cartoon grinch, and also the Claymation Christmas movies.” As far as songs she answers, “any Christmas song that lowkey sounds like jazz.”
Emoni Haynes (12) favorite movie being “this Christmas and home alone.” Songs she enjoys listening to are “Santa baby and all I want for Christmas.”
Now Liz Johnson (11) is “Polar Express,” and she likes “oldies songs by Frank Sinatra.”
When it comes to Emma Middleton (11), “the original grinch with Jim carry because its become a family tradition to watch it on Christmas eve.” Now when it comes to songs, “Michael Buble “ is her #1 holiday cheer song.
