Fall is Here!
Fall is is just around the corner, and so are the numerous exciting events occurring in the heart of Atlanta for everyone to enjoy! Fall is one of the most entertaining and enjoyable seasons, since so many amusing activities are ready to begin. Such events include frightful haunted houses, lively state fairs, fun festivals, enormous pumpkin patches, and the most kid-loving holiday, Halloween!
First off, if there’s one thing that everyone needs to experience this fall when Halloween season comes around, it has to be the Haunted Houses. In Atlanta, there are multiple spooky and bloodcurdling haunted houses that will give you the ultimate thrill to enjoy with your friends and family. An all time favorite of many people is the Netherworld Haunted House, located in Norcross, Georgia, open from September 22-November 5. This haunted house has been deemed to be one of the best in the county , since the sets are very professionally well done, and the hired actors are exquisite in their acting and scaring people out of their wits. Another well known haunted house is the 13 Stories Haunted House, located in Newnan, Georgia. This haunted house is open from September 24-November 4, and it exhibits 54,000 sq feet of pure horror and exhilarating thrills. Within 13 Stories are 5 exhibits, including Ward B, Zombie Alley, Clown Haus in 3D, and Sacrifice. Another popular haunted house destination is Paranoia Haunt in Canton, GA. Open from September 29-October 31, this haunted house has two hair-raising exhibits, Blood Factory and Infectious, which are deemed to give you a frightful scare.
In the fall season, apart from haunted houses, there are numerous fairs and festivals to enjoy all over the Atlanta area. One of the most popular of the fairs is the North Georgia State Fair in Marietta, from September 21-October 1. This fair is the second largest in all of Georgia exhibiting many thrilling rides for teens and adults, and of course fun rides for children. The fair hosts many other activities such as a petting zoo, small sided games, and of course, the famous fair food including funnel cakes, deep fried oreos, loaded fries, and many many more. Another popular fair is the Georgia National Fair in Perry, GA hosting from October 5-October 15. This fair exhibits fun-filled rides, concerts, agricultural exhibits, competitions, food stands, arts and crafts, horse shoes, and numerous other attractions, making these Georgia fairs a big hit for an enjoyable time with family and friends. In addition, all over Georgia there is a huge abundance of pumpkin patches, a popular one is Cagles Farm. Just in time for Halloween, pumpkin patches are a must visit to pick up a couple of pumpkins and carve them into jack-o-lanterns to decorate for this fun fall and Halloween season!
In conclusion, there’s a multitude of ways to have an awesome fall season experience. Haunted houses and fairs fall short of the list of many ways to enjoy autumn and Halloween, but are definitely some of the most popular attractions. Be sure to visit these places and make many memorable experiences!
