Venom is about Eddie Brock who is a widely known journalist whose primary purpose in his job is to bust fraud businesses. Eddie lives with his fiance Anne Weying. One day his boss told him to report on Carlton Drake. Carlton Drake found symbiotic life forms in Malaysia and says it could help him cure cancer. Carlton Drake is rich enough to destroy eddies journalism career to the ground. So Eddie promises he would do anything to jeopardize his future. Eddies fiance Anne Weying works as an attorney in preparing a lawsuit defense for Carlton Drakes Life Foundation. So Eddie does some digging and finds some dirt on Drakes.

After taking the B pill, Annie and Owen find themselves on 1980s Long Island entangled in a strange caper involving a lemur. Annie and Owen are Arlie and Ollie, grifters attending a séance at the mysterious Neberdine mansion in the 1940s.
