Apple was founded on April 1, 1976, in Cupertino, California by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne to develop and sell Wozniak’s Apple first personal computer. He died with an estimated net worth of $10.2 billion. Apple is now the first American public company to cross $1 trillion in value.
Apple has recently come out with three iPhones with two sizes to pick from for each; 8 / 8 Plus: September 22, 2017,
X: November 3, 2017, XS / XS Max: September 21, 2018, XR: October 26, 2018. With each phone, they continue to progress and make money off satisfied customers. Their customers have been known to wait in line for hours just to be one of the first to get a hold of the latest phones. The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus were released in 2017, adding a glass back and an improved screen and camera. The iPhone X was released alongside the 8 and 8 Plus, an improved camera and a new facial recognition system, named Face ID, but having no home button, and therefore, no Touch ID. In September 2018, when Apple released three new iPhones. The iPhone XS, which is an upgraded version of the since discontinued iPhone X. The iPhone XS Max, a larger variant with the series’ biggest display as of 2018. As well as the iPhone XR, a lower end version of the iPhone X, that allows you to choose a colored backing instead of the glass.
I asked some people around school how they felt about each update Apple has, and what does Apple need to improve. Most comments were positive, but a few would like to disagree. “ I have had all iPhones since the 5s, and I enjoy every update, I love having a large screen and better camera quality every time. But I dislike it when I try to screen record a facetime call, and there is no volume. “ – ( Liza Wolfson )
I then asked Taylor Franklin what she would like to see in the next update, and she responded with “ I would like if the group face time was sectioned differently, I don’t like how when I speak my box gets bigger and excludes the other ones.”
As Apple comes out with new iPhones and other Apple products/accessories, it provides a new update as well. With the earlier iOs updates the emojis were different, and Siri did not exist. Now we can scan our face and become an animated character with voice manipulation. Apple continues to amaze us with its exceptional quality and stand as the world most valuable brand.
