One of the few disadvantages of being a celebrity is being in the public eye almost all of the time, including your romantic life being a constant topic of conversation amongst the public. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West aren’t strangers when it comes to the public eye, and neither are their issues within their relationship. Fans began speculating that the two seemed to be rekindling their marriage with one another. These rumors started circulating once they were seen leaving the gourmet restaurant Nobu in California recently.

In case you missed it, Kim filed for divorce from the Grammy award-winning rapper in February 2021 after seven years of marriage. Her reasons for divorce included the fact that Kanye sometimes spends months away from home to focus on music and some other personal issues within the relationship. However, sources have stated that Kim isn’t “rushing the divorce,” and Kanye is “open to the idea of reconciliation.” These rumors began spreading for the first time around late August. Kim has been seen in plenty of outfits recently that were styled by Kanye West himself.

On top of that, she attended all three listening parties for his new album, ‘Donda.’ Two in Atlanta and one in his hometown of Chicago. Another thing that sparked rumors was what seemed to be a renewal of their vows or a recreation of their marriage at his third listening party, which took place at Soldier Field. While the final song played, she emerged from the smoke in a white wedding dress and met Kanye in the stadium’s center. She removed the veil from her face; Kanye took his face mask off after his face hadn’t been seen in months and had the biggest smile we’ve seen in what seems like forever on his face. On top of that, Kim has recently posted old throwback photos of them and their family on Instagram. The most recent event that has led to rumors is Kim hosting SNL. There were reports that Kanye helped her plan out her opening monologue, gave her tips, and even styled most of her costumes for the show.

Of course, when it comes to making assumptions about celebrities’ lives, you can never be too sure because we don’t know who they are personally, so we only see what happens in front of the cameras. However, other sources claim that they aren’t planning on getting back together. “Nothing’s changed since February,” a source close to TMZ reported recently. This came after Kim mentioned Kanye’s name multiple times within her jokes on SNL. “They are not back together. He is still family, and they are friends. They’ve been working on their friendship for the kids and will continue to support each other.” They were even told that the couple stayed in separate hotels during her trip to NYC even though he stopped by the studio to help with ideas for the show on Saturday. They were also told he left the show after her monologue and decided not to attend her afterparty.

Some fans see these as sure signs that the two are getting back together, and others may see this as a publicity stunt. While we may never know for sure what’s going on behind the scenes, one thing we can infer is that the two still have love for each other, whether they’re together or not.
