Bride of Chucky begins with Jennifer Tilly’s Tiffany Valentine retrieving the Chucky doll from an evidence locker and reassembling him, soundtracked by Rob Zombie’s Living Dead Girl. After re-awakening Chucky, Tiffany herself becomes a living doll! Chucky and Tiffany must find a way to road trip up to Hackensack, New Jersey to get themselves out of the doll bodies and into human bodies. For readers looking for female-led horror, Jennifer’s Body takes the cake. Jennifer and her childhood friend Needy find themselves in the center of a small-town tragedy when a fire breaks out at the local bar in their town, Devil’s Kettle. Jennifer and Needy get separated when Jennifer is coerced by the lead singer of the band performing at the bar.

The killer, best known as Ghostface, has a hidden identity throughout the movie and is to be revealed at the end.
