Many of Emmye’s classmates and friends admire her for her loyalty and dedication, helping others meet deadlines in journalism, and motivating others to be a better writer. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, eating, sleeping, and traveling. Mrs. Wickham has enjoyed having Emmye over the past three years as a journalism student and has seen a tremendous growth in the amount of leadership and responsibility she has taken. She says that Emmye has a “bright personality” and even though senior year is a struggle for most students, she is trying to balance everything that comes her way. She has been an important part of the volleyball team for 4 years and her teammates enjoy having her on the team. Most importantly, she enjoys going bowling with her friends and family. In fact, she is extremely proud of her accomplishment as the 8th grade bowling champion.
