Top Five Entrees at Panda Express

Top Five Entrees at Panda Express, Ranked
Panda Express has grown to be a food chain people in Georgia have grown to love, with their take on westernized Chinese food becoming one of the most popular in America. From their wide variety of entrees to low prices, their success seems to be mostly warranted. Since their entrees mostly stay the same (other than seasonal ones), it is easier to rank the tastiest entrees available definitively!

5. Honey Sesame Chicken Breast
To begin with, the Honey Sesame Chicken Breast is excellent for its crispiness and sweet taste. It also has better protein to vegetable ratios, one of the most significant complaints many customers have with their entrees. However, it isn’t flavorful or memorable enough to be any higher.

4. Broccoli Beef
Broccoli Beef is one of the best additions to the Panda Express menu. The pairing of the bright green broccoli with the dark brown beef makes for a great color combo. Also, the neutrality of the broccoli soothes the intense saltiness of the beef. In all, this is a great entree to choose when a craving for veggies and meat arises simultaneously. Even students from Wheeler love this one; “This is one of my favorites!’ (Arnav Chokshi, 11).

3. Teriyaki Chicken
Getting the Teriyaki Chicken can be an experience in it itself. Seeing the flavorful chicken get cut and sauced can make your mouth water. “The entrée itself is simple, but also everything you would want in this kind of meal.” (Lakshmi Valliyapan, 11) The Teriyaki Chicken is also a favorite among the teachers: “I usually get an order of the Teriyaki Chicken.” (Ray Furstein, Math Department)

2. Orange Chicken
Making this placement was challenging. Orange Chicken is the staple of every Panda Express and a go-to for any craving you could have. Tangy and flavorful, the Orange Chicken is what put Panda Express on the map. It was only slightly edged out by number one, but a GOAT case could be made for this entrée.

1. Honey Walnut Shrimp
This is the best entrée. Perfectly fried shrimp, crunchy walnuts, and the sweet n’ sour sauce combine to make one of the best entrees of any chain restaurant. This is worth the $1.25 extra. “This is the best.” (Vachan Patel, 11)
