Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope

Kaleidoscope is the latest Netflix original series starring Giancarlo Esposito, Rufus Sewell, Paz Vega, Rosaline Albay, Jai Courtney, Tati Gabrielle, and Peter Mark Kendall. The hit show consists of 9 episodes, “Yellow,” “Green,” “Blue,” Orange,” Violet,” “Red,” “Pink,” “White,” and “Black.” What makes the Netflix original so unique is that the episodes can be watched in any order, the only criteria being that “Black” is watched first and “White” is watched last, as the series finale. Netflix automatically randomizes the episode order for every viewer. However, viewers are free to watch in whatever order they please.
Many fans have discussed what the “best” or “correct” order to watch the show is. Some have actually suggested watching the designated “season finale,” episode “White,” before some of the other episodes. One fan of the show, Ean Greenlee, gave his remark, “I really liked the show. Personally, I think the best viewing order was watching it chronologically. I thought the whole concept of watching the show in whatever order was really interesting, and I think more shows should do it in the future.” Another viewer, Ephraim Riddick, wasn’t as big of a fan, “I didn’t like the show very much. The story was very generic, and there are dozens of how heist shows that are way better.”
Netflix hasn’t yet announced a second season of the show, but some fans think it’s for the best. Senior, Elizabeth Combs, says, “I think one season is perfect. The story was great, and the concept was so cool, I don’t know what more there would be to add.”
