Cats Meow: Mr. K

Mr. K or Kelechukwu Nwosu is a teacher here at Wheeler high school. Mr.K is biology. An Interview of Mr.K tells us. “Why did you become a teacher?” He replies with an unexpected answer. “It was originally a back up plan because I couldn’t be a doctor because of his eyesight and I am going to like it so here I am.” The day continues as Mr.K continues teaching. A few students were asked questions. Talked to Mackenzie Morris, a 10th grader who was in Mr.K’s class last year for environmental science and last semester for biology. “How do you feel about Mr.K.” Her reply “He’s a cool teacher and he’s very blunt so you know he will be honest with you and help you at the same time.” We continue to ask Ms.Morris another question “How does he help you as a teacher.” She replied “He actually focuses on the students to help them on what they need to work on specifically.” Throught out the day we stop to talk to a more recent student of Mr.K’s to get some more information about him now. Aeriss Brown, another 10th grader who is in Mr.K’s class this year. “How do you feel about Mr.K.” We asked her. “He’s a great teacher.” She replied. “How does he help you as a teacher?” “He’s very dependable if you need help or have a problem with life and need advice.” This shows how Mr.K connects with his students not only as a teacher but also as a person to look up to. He is inspiring, thoughtful, and caring to all of his students. He shows compassion and is very passionate in his work as a teacher. A great teacher Mr.K is from students perspective, “it is great to have a teacher like Mr.K”.
