Wheeler prom will start May 15th , 2023 at the aquarium. It will be a great opportunity for people to have fun with their friends. Prom night represents four years of school spirit and friendship and pride for the senior class, and it is typically the last time the whole class gets together before graduation. For students, prom and promposals signal the end of high school and the start of adulthood. Prom is a mainstay pop culture piece in America. Promposals are well known for when a person asks someone to go to his or her high school prom. Many people liked to take asking someone to prom to the next level, and in 2001 a new way of asking high schoolers to prom was by making a promposal. Many high schoolers still like to do promposals today.
Proposals are usually asked in a creative way to surprise the person being asked and to make them feel special. Prom and many promposals are still relevant today in many high schools, and have been a very popular thing for many teenagers.

In an interview with Sarah Abraham (12) she was asked
What are you most excited for prom?
“For prom the most exciting thing for me is where the prom is taking place, because I’ve never been to an aquarium and it would be a fun experience for me and my friends especially since it’s my first time going there, I’m just really looking forward to making great memories. I’m going to have a great time with my friends.”

In an interview with Brittany Villanueva (12) she was asked “What are you looking forward to for this year’s prom at Wheeler?” Her response was, “I’M excited for the upcoming prom because I didn’t go to my last year’s junior prom, and I’m excited to be going to this year’s prom with most of my friends for my senior year, and I just want to have a great time and make this year’s prom count to make up for my last year.”

In an interview with Adrian (11) he was asked Will you be attending prom this year? Why or why Not? “I will not be going to prom this year because I would rather spend time with my friends at my house or going out with them personally, rather than doing it with random people. I also would not like to spend 100 dollars on a one time thing when I could spend that on something more useful.

In an interview with Isiomah (11) she was asked What are you most excited about at Wheeler prom this year?
“I’m looking forward to seeing the fish at the aquarium, and definitely to show off my beautiful dress that I got for this occasion and to look at everyone’s dresses because it will be really interesting and exciting to see everyone else’s looks. I just would like to have a good time and celebrate with my friends and not worry about anything else.”

In an interview with Jaydyn Loredo (11) she was asked What would be your dream promposal?
“My dream promposal would probably be for my partner to have a sign with just everything i like on it , but i wouldn’t mind if i didn’t have a promposal, because it the thought that counts, but i would just love for it to be something sweet and simple”

In an interview with Shalauan Foxx (12) She was asked What is The Most exciting thing you’re looking forward to for prom?
“I’m very excited to see the animals there and just to be with my friends honestly, and just looking nice and enjoying seeing everyone’s dress and seeing my friends and I have fun and also the vibe and I’m excited for the music as well.
