Recently, Dairy Queen held a promotional event where they had Blizzards for only ¢85. The catch, however, is that you had to create an account on the DQ app for the discount. Another catch is that the offer only applied to small Blizzards. Beth Gannon (Dairy Queen Superfan) liked her ¢85 Blizzard very much. She wishes that she could get the deal again and would overall rate Dairy Queen an 8/10. Beth was very grateful that she got help with the app so she could achieve her beloved M&M Blizzard. Students of Wheeler also voiced their Opinions of the franchise. Many were neutral; however, two students had strong opinions. Venus Hall (10) says that “I find Dairy Queen to be an enjoyable experience for all ages. It’s tasty.” Taylor Loftin (9) has never actually tried the Blizzards but is a big fan of their cheese curds and chicken tenders with ranch.

In contrast, Elizabeth Duffy (10) thinks the ice cream is good, and the food is bad. The opportunity to get an ¢85 Blizzard is over, but there is still room for new deals. Dairy Queen will likely use their app to provide these and strengthen their brand simultaneously. Only time will tell if Dairy Queen stays afloat as a business. However, there is no suggestion that they will not last for years to come.
