Is The Rams A Good Fit For Odell Beckham Jr?

Odell Beckham Jr. was drafted as a first round twelfth pick in 2014 by the New York Giants from LSU. Odell ended his rookie season with 91 catches for 1,305 yards and scored 12 touchdowns and also made that huge 1 handed catch that caught everyone off guard his rookie year. Odell was selected to play in his first Pro Bowl, and won Offensive Rookie of the year from his amazing performance despite having a hamstring injury. Odell is the fastest player in NFL history to reach both 200 career receptions and 4,000 career yards in 2016 where he led his team in 101 catches for 1,367 yards and 10 touchdowns to get his team in the playoffs. Throughout Odell’s years with the Giants, he was statistically a great asset but off the field the coach considered Odell a bad teammate and a drama queen especially after the Josh Norman situation and him punching a hole in the locker room after losing a playoff game according to team general manager Dave Gentlemen. Odell went to twitter to try to explain the bad teammate statement and said “…I begged coach Pat Shurmur to be on the sidelines during home games when i was hurt…I was on a team that was ok wit losing, i wanted to win that BADDD!..” In 2019 Giants traded Odell to the Browns after Odell signed a huge contract with the Giants.
While Odell was in Cleveland, he had 74 catches for 1,035 yards and 4 touchdowns. In 2020 Odell had 23 catches, 319 yards and 3 touchdowns before tearing his ACL against the Cincinnati Bengals in week 7. The Browns have now released Odell on his 29th birthday (November 5th). The reason being because of Beckham’s constant attitude and antics and he finally got what he wanted, finally got what he has been wishing for after asking for trades since 2019 because of constant disappointments. Fans were disappointed in the star receiver leaving Cleveland. Fans believe he was released because of the video his dad (Odell Beckham Senior) uploaded on his Instagram of the many times Baker Mayfield (Browns Quarterback) didn’t throw Odell the ball when he was open but when he did it was either overthrown or short and ended in an interception. The Browns didn’t appreciate the video or that Beckham never reached out to coach Kevin Stefanski or Mayfield, who often praised his work ethic after his recovery from knee surgery, says coach Kevin Stefanski in an interview about the release. Beckham complaints were that Baker didn’t throw him any passes when he was open, also in times of need when they were losing Baker didn’t pass him the ball and it was a bad ball when he did.
Interviewing Bobrae Phillips in 11th grade she says “ Odell keeps jumping from trash team to trash team and he keeps getting done dirty by the team. He just needs a great quarterback and a great organization so he can finally succeed.”

Interviewing Julian Brown in 11th grade he says “I hope Odell just succeeds with the Rams with all he does for every team he goes to, they always got something bad to say about him and it’s always after he leaves if they felt that way about him, they should’ve been released him and said something but I feel like the Rams can be superbowl contenders because they stacked right now.”
After the Browns released Odell he had several teams that wanted to sign him but he chose the 7-2 Rams. After signing with the Rams his second day of practice another receiver tore their ACL which made Odell a starter against the San Francisco 49ers which they lost and Odell had 3 targets for 2 catches and 18 yards with a 54-yard touchdown, that was his first touchdown since week 4 of the 2020 season but they still lost. So now they’ve lost 3 times in a row and twice in a row while Odell is on the team now they’re 7-4. Now the question is, is Odell a good asset to the team?
