Was the Super Bowl Rigged?

The outcome of the Super Bowl was a win for the Chiefs, whether it was rigged or not. The Chiefs won with a 38-35 score, scoring a field goal after running the clock by kneeling, and making short passes to get within field goal range. Some fans believe that the Super Bowl was rigged because the Eagles lost solely, but some have better reasons than others for the reason their team lost. Some believe it was the holding call, called by
the refs that caused the loss for the Eagles. It has even become a popular saying that if you are, “playing against the Chiefs, you are playing against the refs.” Another saying is that “the refs were the real MVPs” for their thought to be selective calls on the Eagles. People truly believe that a single call cost them the game, when the opposing team believes almost the same. Chiefs fans believe that the revoked touchdown that was called on them, on an interception was not fair. If they had lost the game, Chiefs fans would have blamed the refs too. The score, with all calls revoked, would have still been 45-42.

People also believed that Patrick Mahomes should not have won Most Valuable Player, even though he, and Travis Kelce, carried his team stat-wise, even with an injury. Patrick’s injury happened earlier in the game, around late second quarter with Patrick returning around early third to carry his team to victory. Patrick did statistically worse than Jalen Hurts (Eagles Quarterback), with only 187 passing yards, and completing 21
out of 27 passes. He had a measly 44 carrying yards on 6 plays. When Patrick had to be subbed out due to his injury, the Chiefs were down 24-14, but Patrick somehow reversed that to win with 4 driving scores. Jalen Hurts did not back down in the face of the Chiefs however, scoring a rushing touchdown of 2 yards to even the game after Mahomes got the 4 touchdowns. Chiefs fans believed it should have been Travis Kelce who won MVP,
and Eagles fans believe that Jalen Hurts should have won the MVP. The general thoughts of the people I interviewed were that Patrick Mahomes should not have won, but the person who should have was different from person to person. Most said Jalen Hurts on
the Eagles fan side of this, a few said Travis Kelce, but some stuck by Patrick Mahomes, deeming him “MVPat”, for carrying a game while injured.

Eagles fan, Miles Stewart, thinks that the Eagles should’ve won and the holding call was in favoritism of the Chiefs. I asked him if he knew that the NFL was classified as entertainment, and he said no. He said it made sense, because the Super Bowl had to be rigged. Picture of Person that was interviewed.
